Dragon's Roost is a... very questionable RPGmaker game I made when I was 15. Feel free to play! There is about an hour 1/2 of playtime.

Second half of the game is my favorite so hopefully you are able to get there.

Controls

Arrow Keys = Up, Down, Left, Right.

Z = Confirm.

X = Back.

C = Menu (I think).

Shift = Run and Skip Text.

(Tutorials for combat are in the game)

There are some moments that are written poorly so I will write some tips here.

-  Talk to the old dragon in the forest and ask if he has seen anyone. After he answers, go to the bridge-like underpass and ask the blue guard for an axe. (don't forget to equip)

-  There are some riddles that you have to solve on gravestones. The one with a bunch of grass is a mirror image puzzle, where you have to look at one side and solve the other using it. (Just spam Z in the grass, there are 7 switches.)

-  Finish the hole maze before moving to the next room, it makes your life easier. Your goal is the top-left corner.

-   After meeting with the Capitan in the tower, you must leave the town through the path to the right of your house and meet the merchant in her tent.

"I did in fact start this game when I was the ripe age of 15. HEY! STOP DOING MATH. This was a project that I stayed up late to make as a cool thing I could show my friends, but eventually I ended up working on it for about 3 months. This may seem like a while, but I worked on it during school and busy busy... blah, blah, blah.

To say I'm proud of the end result would be a stretch. But I'm impressed that I completed as much as I did! Parts towards the end are very very unfinished but I hope in the end players can get something out of this game. (like how not to make one)"

I'm also a fan of how you can tell exactly when I started getting into dragon quest. The writing and the music switched right after the first boss of the game. Hopefully you don't loose all possible respect for me because I copied so much from dragon quest but its just so copy-able when you've been playing DQV for 40 hours.
